Bilstein shocks - P/N for smart 451? EU or CAN?

Just had one forum member looking for upgraded shocks for the 451. Found a set listed on a UK site but no part number; same with Bilstein's USA website - no shocks shown for the 451.

Can any of our overseas members help out with the part numbers? If we had those, maybe we could convince Bilstein USA to carry them.

According to BILSTEIN Deutschland, part # for the 451 is 009143.

Front: VNE-E569 / Benz 451 320 11 31
Rear: BE3-C679 / Benz 451 320 07 31

UPDATE: good news and bad news. The bad news is the product numbers above won't be available in the USA. The good news is Bilstein USA is working on similar items for the 451; no idea as to when they'll be available.

I wonder why they can't use the Euro version in the US. Different valving maybe?

Any update? I'm looking to do springs and shocks at the same time. I'm ready to do it now if there's anything available.

I've scoured the web looking for suspension kits for the 451, but have come up with not much....

It seems like Bilstein will make something soon and that Brabus makes something now, but the best we can do is get from our friends up north and hope it fits.

Has anyone on the forum upgraded their shocks?

What I'm looking for is to reduce the rolling during cornering and the pitching during shifts. I know people have corrected this with just springs, but I also put on heavier wheels (16" Schmidts). I was hoping new shocks might offset some of the effects that comes with more unsprung mass.
