So I came across a post selling colored bolt caps for the Smart, I've never seen these used before and wondered whether those or colored lug nuts would do the job better.
How do you affix the caps, do they ever fly off?
I had the red on for 6200 miles with no problem. They're only off now because my snow tires are on steel rims and they won't fit steelies with center caps on them.
Are you talking about plastic bolt covers that mimic metal or the rubber ones. I have the plastic ones that fit over my bolts (Benz type) and they havent fell off. I actually have a hard type removing them unless I have my pinch clip that is specifically made to pull them off.
heres my link for the bolt covers Home
they easily push on and easy pull off, pinch them to pull off.
neon pink, red, white, blue, black, yellow, gray (silver).
they stay on nicely. none lost. their a vinyl material.
thanks for looking!
