Bolt cap/covers or colored lugs

So I came across a post selling colored bolt caps for the Smart, I've never seen these used before and wondered whether those or colored lug nuts would do the job better.
How do you affix the caps, do they ever fly off?

Just curious

They don't fly off, they hug snug. I have the red and another set in a spring color to be warn when I change panels.

oh, they're made of rubber and I guess its suction that holds them tight.

I had the red on for 6200 miles with no problem. They're only off now because my snow tires are on steel rims and they won't fit steelies with center caps on them.

I've got the polished SS caps that snap into the 7/16 holes in the lug bolts. No problem. BTW, I don't know the metric conversion for 7/16"...

Are you talking about plastic bolt covers that mimic metal or the rubber ones. I have the plastic ones that fit over my bolts (Benz type) and they havent fell off. I actually have a hard type removing them unless I have my pinch clip that is specifically made to pull them off.

burtandnancy & iconpyro ... links to these items would be appreciated.

Oh, 7/16 would be a snug 11 or a loose 12. I dunno.
