After multiple wiring configurations and experiments I've determined that my expectations were too high for the LED setup I was attempting to use. If you use the setup and 5mm LED's shown here

you can't get the light focus right. Babybenz used the same LED's but a smaller drill hole and pulled the LED's tight to plastic... I'll do the same with 2 additional LED's tomorrow so I have ample light in the back... it's either that or get a new piece from the dealer and go another route... which is under consideration... right now I want to break the thing in half and chuck it..
