Once the lenses are off the orange reflectors can be removed very easily.

Thanks for the replies. We bought the smart as a project car to demonstrate our abilities in interior upholstery and carbon fiber fabrication.

Bodykits, wheels, etc are readily available from the many vendor/sponsors on this forum. Our focus is on our customizing capabilities, not so much the bolt-on stuff.
