No, But a locking gas cap will fix that. There are other companies that offer a face only solution that retains the locking mechansim.

El Cheapo Poor Man's Gas Door Solution

I have the "Poor Man's Gas Door Solution" . You don't necessarily have to be poor as the shrills from an angry wife about how much you spend on your cars even though you have the money are just as bad.

I desperately wanted one of Smartbillet's gas doors but unfortunately the wife says otherwise. So I had to come up with some sort of solution to get rid of that ugly black beast we call a stock gas door. I broke out the tape measure then hit the stores and came up with a gas door cover from a 97-03 Ford Truck - pretty much an exact fit. I got mine from Autozone - $19.99!

REMEMBER - this thing is a thin metal - NOTHING NEAR the quality of Smartbillet's fine product but it does cost a fraction. You can maintain the locking feature of the gas door. It is attached with 3M double sided moulding tape but I have an idea to secure it further with a dab of JB Weld, some small bolts, nuts and a short length of flat aluminum.

Of course there's always aluminum foil! Or silver duct tape!! I think the one you have looks fine!
