I just priced switching out panels at a dealer and I was blown away by the cost ($470!).
I was wondering if anyone has taken their car to do a swap and what that cost was, for comparison purposes...
Also, has anyone actually done it themselves? I will now consider that if it's not too labor intensive and there isn't serious danger of breaking parts.
WTF, Smart Jacksonville quoted me $800+ for Black panels!!??!! Were they jacking me? (I ended up painting my reds black, so it doesn't really matter, just checking..)

What prices are you guys seeing for panel sets?
Johnny
He's not talking about actually purchasing a separate set of panels, he's just talking about swapping colors with another smart owner. Essentially, what does it cost to have the dealer remove one set of panels and install another.

Thanks in advance!
I just had my panels swapped out by Universal Smart and my they did an amazing job. I believe it was about $480. I also live in SF Valley. If it's Universal your talking too they are great to work with.

Actually I talked to BH, but i thought it was their Benz dealer rates so i was going to call Universal to compare. I guess that settles it! I'll have to do this myself, I wasn't expecting the cost to be anywhere over $300
