Doug Thorley V2.0 - Anyone have it yet?

Anyone have the new improved Doug Thorley exhausts yet? I am waiting on 4smartcar.com to ship mine out still (single tip catback). I am getting restless waiting!

I am waiting for my warranty relacement for a single tip from Doug Thorley. The production run is supposed to be compleated in a couple of weeks.

I just took off mine last weekend because the welds had broken on it. Haven't recieved a response yet, but I hope that they will send me a new one.

hmm my weld broke as well the one just at the point where the pipe meets the muffler. looks like they didnt use stainless welding rods being that was the only place that had rust on it. any way had my friends at my muffler shop reweld and reinforce that spot. seems ok so far. could have happened when i went threw som semi deep water figures it was shocked being hot and all

Mine broke in the same place. Dan from smartune sent a replacement right away. still the solid welded one though. wondering if it will brake after a while also.

DTH have made several improvements on the exhausts and those improvements have seemed to take care of any issues that some folks had. The guys at DTH have been fantastic with us and have taken care of our customers.

If ANY of you purchased an exhaust from us (smart madness) please give us a buzz or email us and we will take care of it right away. We have everything in stock. If you purchased it elsewhere and cannot get a resolution you may want to call DTH directly. They stand behind their products and will take care of you.

I shot Dan an e-mail... he is getting in touch with DTH to see if they can get me one in the new design rather than just shipping me a direct replacement. I'm really hoping to get the new one, because a replacement of the same will just break again.

I too have called and e-mailed 4smartcar.com, hope to here back from them soon. I like when my Smart Car doesn't have a broken exhaust.
