I also ordered the air scoop and PowerFlow filter (arrives in 2 weeks), but those belong in another thread.
I thought about the DTH single tip, but I did not like the sound. The next step might be to Dynamat the top and bottom of the engine panel if it is too loud. I will keep you posted - although too loud is SUBJECTIVE...
Have you received your BPP stealth yet and have you installed it?

Ernie...does that mean 15db quieter? So what are the dbs @ different RPMs?

15% would probably be like 1-2db less probably.

When I originally bought my BPP Touring, I talked to Ernie about SPL readings. He confessed he didn't have a SPL meter, and that's when I bought my SPL meter. I took before and after readings and they are posted somewhere on this thread.

I did the Google on Magnum Flow resonators (which is what these systems are built around) and the Magnum Flow manufacturer specifies how much quieter one resonator is compared to another. I think that is what Ernie is basing his estimate on.

I promise you it isn't 15db quieter. No way, no how. 10 db would be a factor of 10x quieter, and 20 db is a factor of 100x quieter. Remember db is a log scale, which is by definition, non-linear.

SunDiego is correct. 15% quieter is about 1 db, which is the limit of what the human ear can discern. I'm looking for 3 db quieter, which is 50% (or "half as loud").

Take the Exhaust off, clean up the manifold where it connects to the head, it will require taking off the Cat, kind of tricky, that connection is very rough and doesn't flow well at all.
put it all back together using stock muffler, Better flow, nice and quiet.
