Engine paint as Caliper Paint

Myself and a fellow smart owner painted my calipers last weekend. The paint I got was blue caliper paint and it was the only blue caliper paint I could find. It turned out it was a royal or darker blue than I wanted. I have found pictures online of electric and metalic blue calipers but cant find that color blue caliper paint, even online, w/o spending $0-$60 bucks. I did find engine paint that does have a high heat resistance. The caliper paint says up to 900 degrees while the engine paint is good to 500 degrees.

I have seen some comments on the net sugestion using the engine paint and it works fine, but not knowing the size of the wheels I am not sure.

Would using the engine paint on my break calipers and roters be ok?

You don't want to spend $0-$60?

VHT Bright Blue Caliper Paint available under $10 many places online.

Just paint it already, if your calipers get up to 500 degrees your car is most likely already on fire.
