Euro Taillights

Is there a way to get ahold of European taillights for the SMART, i noticed them some of the pictures where the taillight is orangish where the turn signal would be. I would prefer my taillight turn signals to light up orange/amber instead of red. Its better for safety and it looks more Euro. Anyone have any info on this?

You can get the taillights one way or another ... though it might require buying them in Europe. But they aren't going to be plug and play.

Here is a picture i found



you can see the lower half of the upper circle is paler, and looks clearer and im assuming has a amber bulb in it. I also notice in true euro style it has 1 reverse light and one rear fog light.

Contact one of the EU smart centers, or try posting on one of those forums. I'm sure the parts are available, but they'll be priced in Euros and you'll have to figure out the wiring on your own.

i tried contacting a guy at Smart of Hertford in England but he never replied to me and its been 2 weeks. What forums would you suggest i try?

thanks ill probably be doing that too but i made this thread cause im actually looking to get the rear turn signals to be amber instead of red
