Gas Milage

Is any one working on a tuning package to increase the fuel mileage. I know they have tuned it for performance. I would like economy Jerry

Me too. It all about maximizing engine efficiency in the 1500 RPM-3500 RPM range. Most output for the fuel injected.

I agree wholeheartedly. I would like to see a chip mod that give me better mpg, not more hp. It would seem logical that whomever has the technology to make a performance mod could make an "economy" mod.

Meanwhile, i will be resisting the temptation to stomp the pedal on the right!

The best mods are the ones that increase "efficiency". With increased efficiency, you will get by definition increased MPG AND increased torque and HP.

If designed properly, a good exhaust system will increase efficiency.

However for a ECU or chip mod, how about a switch. Just flip the switch and go into the MPG mode or Power Mode.

Or that "switch" could actually be a throttle position monitor, that when it senses a rapid throttle input, it will automatically put it into the power mode because it assumes you are desiring more power.
