Get out of my way!!!!!!!

Well, I have made my first mod on my Bruno!!! It's an amazing mod, better than the Genius wheels, better than the lambo doors, better than the HID's.... wait for it...... wait for it.....

It's the Wolo Bad Boy II horn upgrade!

I was a bit nervous about tackling the job myself, especially at the thought of removing 1/3 of the car to get to it, but, it was incredibly easy! I do need to send out a few thank you's for making this project just a tad easier. The evilution site was a HUGE help in pinpointing out exactly where each and every bolt and pin was and which way to slide this and that. I need to thank Mark and Tim at Smart Madness for taking the time to explain to me over the phone the best way to mount the unit, and trust me, it wasn't an easy job for them to explain over the phone to twist this that way, and turn that this way. I also need to thank Paul and his crew at Round Rock Smart Center. I accidentally stripped the very last screw I had to put on the car and not only did Paul find the right screw, he put it on for me. Then we spent about an hour talking about the smart brand, the car, future plans of smart, smart accessories, and just about everything else! Not to mention a big thanks to everyone on here for the detailled threads about your experience swapping out the horn. Thank you to everyone that made this project easier and much more fun to do.

The entire project took about 2.5 hours to complete, but like most of the threads say about this project, once you have an idea on how to remove the panels, it would take about 30 minutes to complete.

Now, I just have to remind myself that I still need to stay out of people blind spots, not attempt to actually sit in people's blind spots just so I have an excuse to blast them out of my way!

Once again, a big thanks to everyone for helping with this!

I don't know, I kinda like the little "beep-beep" horn... It befits the car.

But I also used to own a Suzuki Samurai, and they had a whole ad campaign based on their little beep-beep horn..... Remember those ?? The 'zuki would drive by, let out two beeps, then everyone would turn around, smile, say hi and wave.

I'm keeping myself from installing a K5LA with a switch. It's illegal by all means!

But then again, the smallest car in America blowing off one of the loudest horns in America?

Nope, illegal...even if I install a OE/K5LA switch

Yeah, I am super excited about. Im just wondering how much trouble I am going to be in from the ol ball-n-chain since the first thing said when I brought Bruno home was, "you better not do ANYTHING to that car! See how much was taken off of your trade in because of all the aftermarket parts you put on? NOTHING, I mean NOTHING!" Maybe I could play off the whole, "nah, that's the way it came!" LOL!

I have no idea what you mean by K5LA. This kind of obscure acronym probably needs clarification. I keep thinking 'Channel 5 News LA' haha.
