BLUF* The item this thread is about is snake oil...
I gave up myth busters by about the third show in a row I watched where they used the least scientific methods possible to be funny and irrelevant... their testing of a cell phone in an airplane was especially terrible and was the last show I ever watched
But then, I am a professional in the Testing Business* so I have a distinct bias against entertainment trying to pass for empirical testing evidence
Consumer reports is a mixed bag.... I find some of their testing exceptionally good and well thought out.... Major home appliances they are real good at testing.
But when it comes to cars, and some consumer electronics things, I personally think they need to research consumer demands and expectations much better.... they frequently are wrong in their assessments of some items because they do not have a clue who the item was targeted to be sold too and what features or capabilities are expected...IMO
What every happened with Hydro 4000?
Because of what I do, I need to find out the status of our (U.S. Army) mandated by congress testing of the Hydro 4000 system
