The unit is 229.00. If the unit saves you 10-15% and gas costs 5.00 a gallon then you would save around 2.00 per fill-up which would mean you would have to fill-up 100 times to break even. In some cars that's fine, but in the Smart it might take you a while to achieve

What concerns me the most is that there is no 'money back' guarantee that I could see.
