Thanks!

These are the Brabus quad lights. They are a combination fog lamp & DRL. The DRL was programmed by the dealer to either run just by itself or in combination with the headlights at 50% power.

Did the dealer "program" the DRLs, or "re-wire" them?

Heretofore, smart has not allowed dealers to program OEM foglights to function that were installed after the vehicle left the factory. Could it be that smart is now giving the dealers some latitude?

There are a couple of dealers that have started doing the programming... it's all in who you talk to.

Fantastic job T Bone!!

I picked up the Brabus last night. My dealer knows I'm waiting for a black brabus, so he called me earlier in the week asking if I'd like to buy a dealer demo they had coming in. Initially, I declined because the demo didn't come with the foglights I ordered, but I gave the manager a call, and asked if he could do the Brabus fog lights instead.

The dealer said I'm the first Smart on the west coast with the brabus fogs.

Old Smart - they were programmed, as they were done after they left the factory. The dealer was having trouble programming both the DRL and fogs, so they told me they had a regional rep over there helping them with the install.

Tiger - PM me your schedule. I'll try to meet up with you after work one day. Can you PM me a link to the yellow fogs? I am thinking of doing the same. 1st preference is HID 3000K fogs. If I can't fit that, then I'll just swap to yellow bulbs.
