TBone,

WOW that is great news! Thanks for all the support. i did contact your dealer and was initially told they would give me a 'deal'. Turns out that 'deal' was that I would get the car! Since they added about 3000.00 to the price tag with options I didn't need, I passed and am now still waiting...

I'm so glad it worked out for you! I'll be watching for you!

Debby

Great. Do you still keep the BRABUS reservation after you bought the demo?
Is the different between regular and brabus fog lights are. One have 1 light and the brabus has 2.

The dealer said I'm the first Smart on the west coast with the brabus fogs.

Old Smart - they were programmed, as they were done after they left the factory. The dealer was having trouble programming both the DRL and fogs, so they told me they had a regional rep over there helping them with the install.

Tiger - PM me your schedule. I'll try to meet up with you after work one day. Can you PM me a link to the yellow fogs? I am thinking of doing the same. 1st preference is HID 3000K fogs. If I can't fit that, then I'll just swap to yellow bulbs.

No, I am going to cancel my reservation on Monday. Regarding the fogs, you are right - standard Smart fogs are 1 light per side, and Brabus fogs have 2 lights per side.

I can't stop!

More mods done

debadged the whole car, but left the Brabus emblem in the front grill for now. Will see if I like it.

Swapped out the sidemarkers, parking light, and front turn signal bulbs with PIAA bulbs. On order are LEDs from our forum sponsor for the dome light, license plate light, and reverse lights

Getting a 35% tint done tomorrow, and on the lookout for HIDs

Tbone, how loud is the Brabus exhaust, I have my car on order (silver) but I already have a breathless touring exhaust?

How does the car drive?

Thanks Stuart

Stuart - the Brabus exhaust is not very loud. It has a very slight deep tone to it. The car drives great! But I will switching to coilovers once they hit the market.
