Hey Guys and Gals, I recently purchased the armrest shown below. I understand that some forum members have modifed the armrest to be lower. I would like to lower the arm rest height by 1-1 1/2 inches, and move it forward an inch. This is going to take some cutting and welding, so I was hoping to get some advice from forum members who have modified this particular brand of armrest. Also need to know how to dismantle the head of the armrest. I don't think it would tolerate the heat from welding the frame.
