Header pics

Here are a couple of pictures of the Header that I have been running for the last 3 months.

My biggest struggle has been figuring out how to get it quiet.

I started using one of the Magnaflow muffs from one of my other exhausts....It was only loud when you stepped on the gas

Then I made one from scratch, Better but still did not pass the Wife test.

Now I am running a single quiet pack. all you Bug Guys will know what it is.

The performance is great! the car keeps pulling harder all the way to the redline.

YUP, used a V-Band connector after the collector so I can quickly change the muffler/straight pipe choice.

could you try a supertrapp? tune-able exhaust with those nice headers would be a cool match.

Quite Exhaust

Did you give the factory muffler a try, I know it is restrictive but I bet the wife would approve.

What about wrapping it?

Or moving the collector closer to the exhaust ports then using a small bullet muffler as a resonator between the header and muffler.

I don't know if you have enough room left for this one. I used this mufflers before, they sound great, are cheap, and are much quieter than the typical straight trough design.
The one on the link has a 2" inlet and a 2 1/4" outlet. I like it mostly because it has slightly smaller dimensions than others with 2" in/out or 1 7/8 in/out.
