I don't know anything about the company, but the car is a 1993 Lincoln Mark vIII "Rolling Door" concept. It was made by the Ford Motor Co. It is, obviously, in private hands now but I personally feel that the advertisement is either a joke or a scam. If you look closely at the other small pick-up looking vehicle you can see that the area under the door has been blacked out to allow the door to drop to the floor.
But don't let me hold you back. Post pics when the job is done.

I was suckered by this email going around too. I did wonder why they would choose to demo this on a 14 year old car. Googling this turned up many links to this car including one that showed how this Lincoln concept ended up on eBay instead of in the crusher.

Another great idea from Ford that was way ahead of it's time.

BMW did this a while back with the short lived Z1. Alas only the top half of the door would roll down into the lower half.

That's very cool and a nice concept.
Also I'm sure it's very heavy.

that is an awesome concept but the only downfall is that you would have to loose your interior door handles and speakers and everything on the inside panel. some videos show it
