Hmmmmm (Harley engine swap?)

Buddy and I was talking the other day, and we wondered if it would be possible to put a Harley v-rod motor or better yet a pair of them in a Smart.

It could be called a Smarley.

V-Rod motor

I discussed this on another thread as I have a V-rod. Fabulous motor, lots of torque/hp/rpms, EFI, water cooled, and great sound. If I were to embarq on a project car this is the way I'd go...

Yea but then you would have to stop and pick up parts that vibrated off every time you drove it

Been up to Hollister and seen the Corbin Motors stuff, but I think he gave up on the line.

They used the aircooled vtwin. the V-rod is a water pumper better choice.

If I had the time, a spare Smart and a lot of cash I would try it.
