I would think that unplugging the seat would do it. Why would you want to disable it? Just don't use it

Are you trying to remove the seats, or just want to disable the function?

If you want to disable the function, you can pull fuse 44 from under the drivers seat.

If your backside is pained by heated seats, WHY would you pay the extra $$$ for heated seats in the first place?

Seems to me that you cannot get leather seats without them being heated with the comfort option... I'm guessing that's why.

stick your head into the drivers footwell, look up and towards the door, and you'll see the fuses.

you can take a look at Evilution - Smart Car Encyclopaedia for a layout on identifying where this fuse is.

The heating elements only turn on when you push the switch, with one or two lights on it. If you don't hit the switch you won't get the heat.

Razorback you are right, that I cannot get leather seats without them being heated with the comfort option.
HGB this is not a joke.
SuperGeek I know If I don't it the switch you won't get the heat, but still connected with power, for example If you a have a TV, AMP, DVD play, projecter and computer PS3 in room, but all only plug in power cord not tune it on, you can feel this room hot than the other room, that mean is if you don't switch on still have a power .
grzzlycanuck: Thanks very much
