my kind of ride! well, since I'm going with a coilover set-up that has adjustable damping, my ride may be a little less rough. lol

I really CAN'T understand why on earth someone would want or need an adjustable suspension on a 451. ??? I have a '04 VW R32, and I have between 6 and 7 thousand dollars of modifications done to it. I bought the Eibach adjustable setup about 1 1/2 years ago, and the only times it has ever been in need of adjustment were when I took it to the strip for times...

Just save yourself the money and get a set of springs. I dont think you realize how incredibly stiff the smart will be with adjustables set low. You have to understand that the coil on such a setup is designed with a spring rate that is already aggressive without being compressed more than the weight of the vehicle provides. When you compress it further by adjusting the coil, you are going to be looking at car that will chip teeth when you go over bumps!

This is a very light car. Keep that in mind as you are thinking about increasing your spring rate...

Spumonti - yes, I know I know. I've been driving low since 1995.
