Inexpensive roof sunblock for Passion models

I picked up some light-colored shade fabric (white/light-tan blend-- as opposed to dark green) in the garden department of Lowe's.

Cut two 30X28" pieces and spouse sewed them together. Slipped it atop (through the back) of the factory shade roll, gently pulled it forward, then closed the factory shade cover.

The fabric provides enough "stiffness" to avoid fluttering-- and with it doubled, it really blocks out the sunlight. Cost: A tad over $5.00.

Simply roll it up and store it for next year, when summer's over.

Great idea!

Any chance you could post a photo or three? You know what they say about Pictures and Words...

Thanks.
Terry

Here's a pic of the two pieces sewn together.

To install:
Simply open the factory sunshade, feed the shadecloth over the top of the factory roller, gently pull the shadecloth forward and line it up, close the factory shade cover.

To remove:
Put your hand over the top of the factory roller, grasp the cloth and gently pull it out from the back.

**(Don't open the cover with the shadecloth in place, it will get caught up in the roller)**
