and regarding tuning for a turbo motor,
Unfortunately your factory engine management was never designed for forced induction. Therefore we would not be interested in programming the ECU.

A few people I wrote to when I was big into the ECU tuning have done the Inmotion tuning and are happy with it. Don't recall who exactly, but maybe they will read this thread and respond with their thoughts.

I have the inmotion ECU update in my car, I won it at the Dells 2009 meet. I noticed a difference, but not sure if I'd pay the $ for it.

Not to probe or anything, but what difference did you notice after the tune that wasn't there before the tune?

thanks for answering SmartJoeMN. I am also curious in what differences you have. from my experience with remaps - it seems like you notice the "pull" is more than stock as you get higher into rpms. my example was traveling a 1 mile hill and the smart kept holding out higher rpms with plenty of power while comparing to stock which seems to flatten out around 5500 and you need to shift to get moving again.

you would also have similar situation merging into traffic from 30 MPH to 70-75 when she'll hold 3rd gear above the displayed 6,000 RPM and still feel strong. I wouldn't say that this is "turbo-like" when the boost can pull back your head and I don't especially notice any difference in "passing" power that a turbo would give you. It just seems like the HP and TQ curves have higher peaks in higher rpms.

is there a difference you can describe for Inmotion remap?

let's cut to the chase. Is your top speed any higher now?
