having a hard time removing the 2 bolts to the muffler. How much force do I need to get this to come off?
Get some lubricant and spray it on the bolts and let it set for a little while. Also, if you haven't already, remove the two rods from the rubber holdings. I used a really small socket wrench so I could get it in there for the two bolts. Once I got the bolts lubricated and was able to reach the bolts it was some what easy to get the bolts out. Don't forget there is a third one on the flex tube. I used a wrench and took it out from inside the engine bay.
Sundiego, no tricks. Just lots of patience. Thread one bolt with 2 turns with one side of the gasket. Then slide the other end of the gasket in between the flanges. Thread the second bolt. Make sure the bolts are aligned to the threads. Cross-threading is the last thing you need.
