you gotta have a compressor to get the stock ones off in the front.

unless you want to shoot the springs and some tools across the shop. and maybe some fingers.
even the super cheap compressors will work if you are VERY careful.

I second that. Me and baby benz just did his front springs yesterday. I had already done mine a few weeks ago with my brother. I couldn't remember if we used spring compressors when we took mine off so me and bb didn't have then on when we took off the factory springs. Just like you said everything shot across the shop :-) and that's when I remembered oh yeah we did put those on. It did take two people to get the a arm off and back on. One word of advice when putting the a arm back. Once you get it back on make sure you place another jack under it jack it back into place and then put the bolts back on. My brother forgot this step and it cost me 130.00 for a new a arm and a whole day to take it off and replace it.
