Was going to have my smart center tech assist me in the installation of my twin tip muffler primarily so we could do it on a lift but after checking with smart USA he was told he could not assist as the muffler may void the warranty with respect to the emissions system.
So I will do it myself tomorrow.
It shouldn't, as Paul Bridle (Smart Center RoundRock) inquired directly to the head of warranty issues at SmartUSA.
Maybe your tech is ill informed? Seems to be commonplace these days...
I desperately want this system... I'd love to hear some other people's experiences getting it in. I'm not looking forward to having to cut the bottom, but billet has a great piece to finish that off as well, and it looks great in the pics.

Buy it Bro, you won't regret it!!! Only 3 bolts to remove and its made so precise that it bolts in very easily. Don't worry about cutting the valance either. The material cuts like butter and we have the bezel to add the finishing touch!

Kid,
I am installing mine tomorrow in my driveway by myself and I am far from what you would consider mechanically inclined.

Seeing how good it looked with the bezel pretty much sold me on it. I would definitely be getting that too... Thanks for the advice!

I will post my experience tomorrow when complete.
Please do! I'm not mechanically inclined either, but fortunately I have some friends who are.
How much louder is the sound, can anyone give a rough percentage? I just came from a modded beast with headers/catback that sounded bad-azz, but the interior noise told me "never-again". However this looks better each time I see it, particularly with the bezel from Smartbillet. Really don't give a hoot about performance on this car, so I'd likely opt for the touring version.

LOL, its 59.73% louder than stock. Sorry, but I couldn't help it. Honestly though, it is quite a bit louder than stock, but its not "offensively" loud. Its got a nice purr to it, and its not that bad inside the car, which was my biggest concern. Just crank up the tunes a bit!
BTW, the bezels has been re-designed a little to add a little more style. Price remains at 24.00 shipped.

Thanks, you actually gave me the perfect description. Think I'll hold off. My ears are just now recovering from the drone from the Magnaflows and LTHs on my SRT8 and still a little too sensitive.
