Cutting the rear valance looks like a bit of a challenge. A nice addition to the kit would be some sort of plastic grooved trim piece that would fit in the cutout to mask the rough edges. I can turn a wrench but not so good with the body and plastic work.

Oops, just saw Smartbillet has this in aluminum for $25 in another thread. Expensive but nice looking on dark car.

Does the sport exhaust approach the sound of an old VW based dune buggy?

Too early to tell yet. Have not filled up since the conversion. Will track the next few tanks versus my log of all fill-ups so far and will report any differences I find as they occur.

Did my first fill up after installation of the BPP exhaust. Got 40.12 MPG. Previous three tanks averaged 37.2MPG with the best of those three at 37.8.

I don't think I can simply give credit for the increase to the exhaust after one fill. I will track the next two fill-ups then compare 850-900 miles before and after and will report what I find.

I ordered my exhaust today. Stinks that I missed out on the lower price, but I can't wait to get it. Two weeks or so should give time for the bezel to come in too.
