Hey guys and gals,

Part-and-prints makes some really nice stuff. Michael who runs the business is a very nice guy, but can be difficult to understand because he does not speak English. He is using an online translator and that is why the descriptions sound odd.

We have been dealing with Parts-and-Prints and are fans of their work. Each piece is bought new from Smart and then done by hand. Michael is personally involved in making sure each piece is done right.

Recently we became their exclusive North American distributor and our goal is to provide those items through our website and at the same time save everyone some time, money and hassle.

The parts are not cheap, but they are well made and look sharp. Our goal was to place the parts on our demo car and show it off, but we are selling these parts as quick as Part-and-Prints can make them for us.

We have asked Parts-and-Prints to increase their production and have placed larger orders. As the orders grow we should be able to bring the cost of these items down a bit.

Right now all the parts must first be purchased from Smart directly due to the fact that we do not have cores to return back to Germany (like their local customers). This raises the price of each item significantly.

After the job is done they get air freighted to the US (too many damages otherwise and long delays) at a relatively high cost. Add tariffs, customs fees and taxes and it get's expensive.

If you are interested in any of the items please check them out on our site at Smart Madness Home Page. We stock all the parts they make for the 451, but have not put all of them on our site. We are adding items daily and should have all of them up by the end of the week.

Another option you have to reduce costs is shipping us back your original items once you replace them with these. Provided they are in good shape we can issue you a partial credit (contact us for details).

Sorry to have gone in to such detail, but we wanted to make sure you have all the information.

These are quality pieces, made from OEM parts ( hence already not cheap even BEFORE they are worked on), and look super sharp.
A couple of customers have installed these extensivley, I can perhaps direct you to them for some pics and a reference
They are made-to-order, so no stock, although I am thinking of stocking the basic 5 part set ( feedback, anyone ?)
