Is anyone going to dyno either one of these pipes vs. stock intake?
Yes, actually we will be pretty soon.
Right now our engineering is based on hydraulics of air flow. We are getting rid of the resonance box which actually sucks the air traveling through by vacuum. Our pipe is now the same size as the throttle and also the same size as the pipe coming out of the filter. This ensures that the diameter from the filter to the throttle does not change. With a small diameter means the airflow in the pipe has a faster velocity which equals cooler air.
We use stainless steel mainly because it will last a long time. It won't rust or crack and the great thing is, it makes your engine look nice. The pipe is pretty light and will not damage any parts in the engine.
The other advantage, which is rarely mentioned, is that stainless steel has a nice sound. I’ve been running this pipe for weeks, and the sound is kind of like a “Stealth” sound. Almost like hidden power.
Our Hyper Pipe Intake is made in the USA and we back it up 100%
