I can't believe I missed this thread originally. That looks great. I really need to change my LED's to green.

I dunno why, but i've always been a fan of red. My parent's '01 Trans-Am has red backlit gauges and red lighting on the stereo (with red LED's to show where the slot for the CD is).... and it's just nice to drive, since it's not an overwhelmingly bright red, and red is generally easier on the eyes from what i've heard. I'd change mine.... but i'm not the greatest at soldering, and wouldn't wanna screw something up.

An advantage over the cabrio there for sure!

It used to be red was the preferred light for piloting in air and marine craft, belief being the eyes can recover to night vision more readily. But... lately it seems the blue-green like that found in traffic lights is the preferred color.

No matter what color you like, it needs adjustable intensity to supply the minimum you need to see if your goal is the quickest recovery to your natural night vision... YMMV

Great mods! Piglith, you have set the bar for gadgetry

Really nice work on the car!

It looks great, and I see you have spent a while on it for sure.

Thanks all for the compliments haven't been to the forums in a while. Been busy with other projects. But recently got back to work on the carputer. Updating software. Upgrading driving cameras and such. Funny it's taken this long for some of the software pices to finaly come together and work properly. But its still got work and 1/2 the fun of constently updating.
