Just wondering if anyone will be offering a S/C for our smarts anytime soon

I don't really need to go much faster but I'd like a little more quickness going up the inclined on-ramp to the freeway and up those steep hills

S/C would be interesting though usually less bang for the buck

For less money you can get a CAI from Smart Madness.

I already have a CAI, an exhaust, and Air scoop - I can barely tell the difference in torque.
My Smart now does much better in mid -to- high speeds and shifts quicker. BUT!!!! car still could use some torque, but then it would kill the mpg.
Hmmm, I can't wait to see what Ernie's turbo numbers turn out

Cisco, I have your CAI and love it. But I too would like a Turbo or Supercharger to get more torque

It depends on how much torque you really want. The CaI and Exhaust combined is still cheaper than one Turbo unit. So it also boils down to how much you really want to spend. Some people don't care but then there are other people who don't want to spend that much but would like some performance improvements on their car.

My opinion, with the CAI, I notice a big difference in the torque, the response and the sound. Of course I'm not trying to make a drag racer, just a better performing car.

I see what you're saying. But I already have the CAI, Breathless Exhaust, Veloce ECU and air scoop. I still want to get more power out of this little car. The turbo seems to be the last thing needed and available.

Thanks. I was just putting my 2 cents in. I have no doubt that a Turbo will increase torque. I just noticed that SFR has 2 stages for the Smart. This should be interesting. Thanks for your support. Hope to see you March at the Birthday bash.
