Moon Roof Targa Conversion Possible?

Has anyone looked into seeing if the Lexan roof on the passion coupe could be removed... or actually made to be removable like a sort of targa top?

It's only bonded in with windscreen sealant, Use a windscreen tool and cut through the seal and remove the roof.

I talked to a local dealer of Webasto products, the company that makes the lexan roof on the smart, who said they can put one of their sunroof products on the smart roof.

It's not a targa but it does make it an opening roof.

check them out @ webasto dot us

UM, can you say "CABRIO"?

Howdy
If I understand the "targa" idea, it removes the roof from the windshield to the rear of the door?
The cabrio already does that? Fully lower the roof, remove the side bars, raise the roof to the mid point and VIOLA you have a targa?

For those of us for whom French is a second language (sort of), I think it's voilà you're looking for. Viola is a bowed string instrument. It is the middle voice of the violin family, between the violin and the cello. ...

Voilà, voilà, ça suffit, on en a assez parlé... Passons à autre chose!
Comme. par exemple, faire d'un toit Webasto fait de Makrolon® par Bayer™ un toit ouvrant, et non une décapotable!

I meant what I typed?

Howdy
I meant what I typed.
Drop the top, remove the roof bars, put up the top to the mid position and
VIOLA. . .
You can stand up and play the VIOLA!
