Mounting a THULE on SMART

Hello together,

my english is worse - I know that.
We are a lot in the mountain regions for climbing, boarding and cycling. So we decided to mount our THULE rack for VW GOLF at the SMART.
If somebody knows helping hints, please write it to us.

There was a thread at one point about mounting a cycle rack on the Smart. Although I cannot remember where it was posted. Definitely look around the forum and I am sure you will find it. I don't think it would be good to put more than a couple of cycles up there though.

Im sure you will need to get new feet for your rack. Thule Does an excelent job of making specific feet for each kind of car.

I have a Yakima rack with a Thule box on my smart. The Yakima site has a good explanation of the fitment. It is best to get the extender bars to get a 24 inch separation between the cross bars. Last time I checked the Thule web site they did not have a defined solution for the smart.

Oh and BTW, the search term that I used was "bike rack". I imagine "roof rack" would have worked as well.
