We wanted to give everyone a little advance notice...
We have been working with SOLO exhausts on a new Side Exhaust that would offer smart car owners the benefit of increased performance while maintaining a stock look.
Our main requests were:
Provide a flex coupling similar to their center exhaust which has worked out great
Provide significant performance gains similar to other aftermarket exhausts
Make sure that the exhaust has a pleasant sound note that sounds better than stock, but at the same time make much less noise that what is currently available from other side exhaust options
Installation should be easy and no modifications to the rear apron should be necessary
We are happy to say that after many months they are almost done. Here is a shot of a prototype. The production version will look a bit better and will be available in a couple of weeks.
