New SOLO smart car exhausts are coming

i had the original, still do can't sell it no one wants it. the cat broke on my car. i did get it fixed under warranty the post are on this site. smartmaddness was great and so was solo. but no they have a new system out and it seems that it is suppost to help not break the cat. i had my unit on for 6 weeks and 5,000 miles before i had the problem.

not sure what to do now.

i am also now questioning if mine was the first they had herd of from a solo system doing what it did. with the new one talked about a couple of days after mine broke.

Which of the center exits would you say makes less noise? The dual or single tip? Or are they the same?

Both of the designs use the new, longer resonator which significantly reduced the exhaust noise. They should both be about the same.

when we started the redesign we requested the dual tip option. None were available that would work, so we had a set done from scratch.

Now there are several options for everyones taste.

I got a chrome tipped side exit preordered at smartmadness, and cannot wait to throw it on my little roller skate. Here's hoping Sergio calls me soon.
