I like the exhaust note. Waiting *patiently* to see that quarter mile and 0-60 jog

Just because we didnt film the speedometer doesnt mean you cant judge how fast this car really is. You guys are talking about the shifting for example. You guys know how long it takes to go through first ,second, third, etc........ It is happening much faster now. I said in our other thread that we will be doing some quarter mile testing very soon.

We are just trying to give people a feel for this type of upgrade and trying to put as much information out as possible. We have lots of pictures, dyno charts,videos,etc.......Basically we have alot more info out there about our turbo system then anyone else does. We have nothing to hide. We are very happy with what we have accomplished and we are driving the living crap out of the car trying to break it. For example, the first 100 mile trip had the car basically boosting for almost 2 hours straight! Now we are approaching almost 1000 miles and no issues so far. Expect alot more,we are not finished yet.

Perhaps a daylight shoot would be more visually revealing.
Unless you guys are running without plates...

As an owner for almost a year, I think I can see a difference in speed from the driver's perspective in the video. But yes, daylight would be 100 times more revealing and no matter what, a video won't do justice to actually driving it. Maybe - just maybe - a side by side video of a stock vs. turbo... get two side by side running the same track in a drag race for example.

Just a couple of suggestions from a business/marketing perspective. Your product could be the greatest thing since sliced cheese, but a video like that will only show off a third of its true value. I do think I like the exhaust sound, though.

My favorite part was the last 5 seconds... meepmeep. I almost died laughing. Now I see why everyone laughs/smiles at me trying to 'race' them in a stock Smart.

Sorry you feel that way, but I don't know of anyone who'd drop $3.5K-$5K on a package sight-unseen. You do want to sell these kits, I assume...

Okay, fair enough... But pointing the camera out the front window, with nothing in-frame to reference to? After sundown, no less? Not the ideal. I could shoot video out the windshield of my normally-aspirated car, screw with the timecode in Final Cut, and tell everyone that I had a jet engine in the back. How could anyone prove otherwise?

I know how long it takes to go through the gears... In *my* car. Is yours an '09? An '08? An '08 with a reflashed tranny? An older Eurospec? Again, with nothing to reference to, all you have is some motor noise and some lights going by. (it really is quite nice motor noise, though.)

All I'm saying is it's not really the most effective marketing tool. Check your competition; the video he put up tonight tell us quite a bit more than yours does.

Food for thought; tendered with respect; take or leave.

We will be doing 1/4 mile testing at the track in the next week or so.Timeslips are the only way to get an accurate representation of what this car car do.
