Pics are 450, but shots showing comparison between springs are representative of any spring swap.

Keep in mind too that the Brabus springs are on the very light end of the "sport" spectrum. Any aftermarket spring(H&R, Eibach, etc.) will be even shorter and stiffer.

Too bad there's not really any way to make the Smart have a nice and soft ride..... at least maybe until something along the lines of the Bose suspension system becomes available (and affordable).

well yeah... they'd probably work if you're looking for the sporty-end of suspension. I'd prefer if a quite easily noticably softer ride was available compared to my Brabus's suspension.

Don,

Are you talking springs or shocks/struts? If you're talking shocks/struts then the blisteins are already available here. The brabus shocks are blistein... I ordered a set from the dealership and they're stamped blistein in the metal jacket of the shocks and struts.

It's worth noting that the Brabus 451 suspension is actually worse than the standard 451 suspension and only 10mm lower. In Europe, Brabus owners are fitting bog standard 451 suspension for better handling. The handling in my 450 was pretty bad and OK on the comfort scale, I didn't really want to lower the car as I thought it would make the ride harsher, I was very wrong. The Bilsteins lowered the car a lot and smoothed the ride out as the springs are progressive.
