tv- I'm all for repost/repeats/zombie thread refreshers. There are always new people joining the site so it was great it got posted. - wasn't trying to come across as "Hey dummy, someone already posted that before." Hope it didn't sound that way.

mvaldes - I knew it was something temp oriented. My memory is so great on certain things.

Not yet... 2yr/24K Warranty. And I'm out as of last Thursday.

My Smart has wifi via a Cradlepoint CTR350 USB wireless router driven by a Cricket A600 cellular USB modem stuck to my netbook carrying case and running off four 5AH "C" NiMh cells in series (5V sort of). The wifi follows the netbook wherever it goes and provides road wifi for Maemo Mapper, etc., and Streamtuner on the road. Works great!

Hi Larry..
Well. This thread is like a year old.. :-)
But I do still have the Nokia 800 but I don't use it anymore.
Sadly it developed a dead area of the touch screen that makes it difficult to work. The upgrade to Diablo really turned me off because the email app. did not work right for me.
I have an Ipod touch in that same mount now
Maemo Mapper was the killer app for the n800 and that part of it still works.. but the Ipod jailbroken with the same bluetooth GPS unit that I used wit the nokia works pretty much the same.

I have been toying with putting the Noikia on Ebay.. but I don't guess it is worth very much... You want it for spare parts or anything.. make me an offer.. Nokia. (don't know if I still have the slip case).. stylus. . questionalbe battery.. USB cable. .and even the usb on the go adapters to make it into a "host" oh.. and the charger of course.
Not selling the mout.. as it is still in the smart and is just about perfect for holding the ipod touch.

BUt Larry.. I found a new life for the N810...
It is now a bicycle computer :-)..
GPS tracks my rides then uploads them to google earth..
Plays music for my ride.. and gives me internet if I decide to stop by the coffee shop..
So the N810 lives after all :-)
