live, try and hopefully learn. back in '86 one of my first mods (non-smart of course) was to replace the headers with bigger, longer and nicely bent headers (of course pricier too). that's what we used to do with the big blocks and even small blocks for extra power. well, the nice new headers slowed my turbo down. at that point I knew I was dealing with new animals - fuel injection and turbos. as I've posted before - it's still an air pump but getting air in, ignition and getting air out can be complex in the boosted world.
