Look around; several vendors have 3-to-4-lug & 3-to-5-lug adaptors.

Don't forget to post a pic of your new wheels when you get them.

Any reports on experience with the 4- and 5-lug adapters?

By adding the wheel spacers to go to 4 or 5 lug you may increase your offset to the point where your wheel & tire may hang out of fender opening if your new rim doesn't have enough offset to compensate for the adapter thickness.Food for thought.

I may be incorrect.... but i coulda swore that i read somewhere that the lug adapters were mostly meant for show use, to fit different tires on a car that wouldn't typically use them... and not really suited for a lot of driving.

Again... could be wrong... but i believe i read something like that.

I ran a 450 with 3-5 adapters for 3 years (36,000 miles) and had no issues.
They need to be checked for tightness every month just in case. Modified Smarts in Europe have been running these for about 8 years and I have never personally heard of a set failing. We do have tight regulations on these though, they are made from aircraft grade aluminium and x-rayed after production. I cannot account for the quality of the USA made ones.
