Question about turning off traction controll.

I searched and found one topic about the subject. If i were to run a fused switch that interrupted power to fuse 11 (i read that that fuse was the ESM fuse), would it disable my abs? also, i was wondering if i could turn it on and off while driving, or if i had to turn the car off and back on every time. I'm assuming it would throw a check engine light as well, could they use that as evidence to void my warranty?

i love the car, but sometimes i think the system is too sensitive. Plus i plan on taking the car to autocross at some point, and i dont want to have that system affecting my acceleration out of turns... any help is appreciated.

If you only worrying about it durring those times, Pull the fuse at your own risk.

By the way, This is a big can of worms that has been opened many times. Look for ESP in your searches.

Oh wait, the basic search does not handle 3 letter words,
So I fist search for a 3 letter abriviation like USB, then it will send you to a search that uses Google to search the forum

Here is one for you

...yes there's such a switch to turn the system off..
...it has been talked about that turning the system off on the fly "may" send/induce surges that are not to friendly to the computer...
...it was also said in the previous thread that most of the people that turned the system off quickly turn it back on 'cause it was a hand full ...the kind that costs $$$

jetfuel...quick...turn it back on.....thanks dude

There's more than ESP slowing the car down - like minimum horsepower.
