Quiet down the DTH exhaust

Anyone have a resonator tip they recommend to quiet down the DTH cat-back exhaust? I can't stand the drone sound on the highway.

Somebody posted a mod for the BBP system but not sure it will work on the DTH. I thought they weren't supposed to drone?

Found it: BPP Center Exit Exhaust too loud? Here’s a mod.

Need an add-on motorcycle tip, not something stuck into the pipe and increase the back pressure defeating the exhaust gains.

I am seeking a resonator tip with no hp loss.

I do not wish to give up power; just noise. Else, I will rip off the DTH amd purchase the WORKS exhaust, which gives me equal hp and far less noise.

The Supertrapp works pretty good on other application and is not very restrictive, it may work for you.

Real data to back up, "it's still too loud."

DTH has a solution!

I just spoke with Nick at DTH. DTH is designing a stainless steel, baffle insert for the exisitng DTH cat-back exhaust. The device is spec.d to reduce the horsepower a tiny 0.25 hp BUT quiet the exhaust drone significantly. The exact db spec.s will follow from DTH on their web site:
DougThorleyHeaders.com

I am told the new unit will be available to all within thirty days and is easy to install. I was so excited, I tried to pre-pay with my credit card. Nick appreciated the offer, but I must wait a few more weeks. Damn. I almost had the little bugger.

Ditto. I'm used to aftermarket motorcycle exhausts that I've swapped out over the years: everything from Cobra slip-ons to Bubs---now THAT'S loud.

The Thorley system actually has a pleasing "tuned" sound. Reminds me of my old Triumph Spitfire that I should have never sold back in 1976....

Did Nick at DTH happen to say whether they are adjusting the volume on future production of the single exit (#83405) catback systems or will they continue with the current design and offer a baffle option?
