Rear Hatch Button Mod graphic help?
Oddest Title ever, but can't think how best to word it.
I did the rear hatch release button modification, and I would LOVE to have a decal to put onto the button, for obvious reasons. Does anybody have, or can they make, a nice clean .jpg of the hatch release graphic that is on the keyfob? If so, my wife have a paper plotter that can also cut vinyl. I would be willing to cut a BUNCH of these, and drop 3-4 in an envelope for anybody who sends me an SASE.
Thanks for any help!

You could probably just use a black Sharpie to remove some or all of the design to make it more instantly recognizable. Quick and cheap mod.

Ah sorry, ignore my answer, I didn't realize what you meant at first. Oh, not to threadjack, but which vinyl plotter/cutter do you have and how do you like it? I'm an artist and about to make the leap.
Good luck with it.

It's actually not a true machine, but a rebadged Craft Robo (Quizkutz) that my wife uses for scrapbooking. I haven't run vinyl through it yet, but it's reported on several forums to handle it just fine. it's limited to like 8.5" x 39", which it fine for something like this, but not good for serious work. My wife uses it all of the time, and it does a great job, when you are using a good file to begin with. Overall, I'm impressed with the build on it, and the software, so if CraftRobo made something bigger, it'd definetely be on my list of potentials. Good luck finding something you like.

Thanks for the explanation of the Craft Robo. I am looking at some models in the 250 dollar price range from U.S. Cutters, vinyl cutters with stands. I probably won't need a lot of width, since most decals I'd want for the smart would need more length than anything. I wanna make a radioactive decal for the gascap and some other details.
Once I get it, I'm gonna whip up some decals for myself and see if anyone here is interested. I kinda got sold on getting a vinyl cutter after paying 30 bucks for simple 1-color vinyl lettering. Way over-priced, but shipping was responsible for part of that.
Good luck on getting your hatch-button graphic fixed.
