Yes, completely! Installation should take about a minute per side.

We had to make a pretty serious commitment to make this work. We now ship all our products all over the world and most of the items on our site now have international shipping. If there is ever a product that you are interested in and the international shipping rate does not pop out or it seem too high (still working on it) please drop me a line or PM me and we will see if we can fix it.

Our goal with these lights was to make them look and fit like OEM. We will make them available to the UK and the entire worldwide smart community. We already have dealers in the EU that are waiting.

We have only been working on the high and low beams and have not looked in to the fog lights yet (too many projects going on right now).

We have taken care of this. The cap seal is rubber that fits right over the headlight. It is a perfect mold. The cap fits snug over the light and just in case there is a metal clamp that secures it.

Price will higher than the cheap, disposable eBay ones that do not work very well on a smart. Our goal is to make it reasonable, but as you can probably guess they cost significantly more to produce.

We would like to make the entire set available for under $250. Don't quote me on this, but it is out goal. It may be $10 more or less.

Joe,

We have been testing these lights (in prototype stage) on our smarts for several months and the light output has been great. We used a 6000 bulb to get a nice white light. Some requested a 7000 bulb for more of a blue color and we will have that as an option.

Sorry guys for all the posts. I was trying to answer all the questions that I had answers to at this time.

We are also working on have bulb options for those that want other choices besides the 6000 and 7000.

We should have more info in the next couple of weeks.

Thank you again for the questions and the interest.

yea I can get you a picture of the beam output. It's just regular HELLA halogen projectors in our SMART headlights with THREE Times the light output! wOo Hoo! The advantage to Boris setup is that his packaging is as oem as possible, the HID components, the bulb, the light and output is all pretty much the same... except for some minor difference such as aftermarket HID ballast made in taiwan, china or anything hid aftermarket would offer a system that are like "digital" or what not or... a resistor attached to prevent the check engine light from turning on , on european vechiles with the CAN-BUS system. I always stick with factory OEM components with ballast made by philips, kyoto, hella, denso, masi****a (typo) etc.. but having those parts in a cusotm cap would require a huge investment probably 10x what Boris has invested in these

Just so our fellow smartie can make an informed purchase... anything higher then 4300k is less in light output even though it'll look bluer and purple. So start going above 5000k like.. 6000k and above and it'll get blue and purple and the actual light output on the ground will be less, even though it might "seem" brighter if your stnading in front of the car because our eyes are more sensetive to the color blue. I hope Boris will be able to offer 4300k or at least 5000k that'll be a good combination.. great light output, and high quality factory like cosmetic apperance.

Cheers!
Larry

Ask and you shall receive! :-)

We just confirmed and we will offer the 4300 option as well as a complete range from 4300-800. Something for everyone!

Our final version will be here in two weeks and once we confirm fitment we will have them in production and available (hopefully) prior to months end.
