Every day as I drive to work, and home again, the sun shines in through the back half of the drivers door window. The sun visor is not long enough to provide shade and I have been using a brochure stuck in between the glass and the rubber gasket. This last week I picked up a pair of roller shades that have shades with holes in then so you can still see through them. Usually they are stuck to the glass with suction cups or hung on the glass with clips. The problem is they do not block off sun at the top of the window which is where my vision is.
SOLUTION: I pried the clips open and put them over the plastic trim above the windows The plastic covers the Tridion rails. I left the suction cups on to steady things and to attach the bottom to the window. I also spaced the clips so I can move the shade forward or back depending on where the sun is located. I tried using foam tape and it would fall off on hot days. The suction cups won't stick to the surface of the plastic trim.
I'll try to add pictures later. Cost of a pair of roller shades, around $5. Now maybe I'll add some wording on the back side so it is visable from the outside....
