Second MDC Works!

Received an MDC a couple weeks ago and it failed to function so SM had me send it back for a new one. Installed it today and have only test driven it a couple miles, but it appears to work as it should. A good feeling when something goes as it should after all the aggravation the first time around. They sent me a Smart t-shirt at my request to compensate for postage as the return shipping label they promised never came.

My next project is to install two rear wheels on the front. These are supposed to be on the way from SM also. They never email when something is being sent like a lot of vendors do. Otherwise, no complaints.>>

MDC is a company, not a product.

Since Mister Dot Com has yet to have any other noticeable presence on this forum (the American Market) the "cruise control" is implied as in the "Area451" substituted for the "Area451 cruise control."

Apologies if the shorthand on this side of the pond is a little off-putting.

Hey Mr. C!

Rachel here, aka SmartGurl. Wanted to let you know it looks like those rims are to arrive to your doorstep tomorrow. Thank you for being so patient and waiting for those rims, especially the stock rears. Knowing you placed your order in advance with fingers crossed that we get them, well, fingers crossed worked

I will PM you with the info. In the meantime, as well with all drivers of Smart Madness, we always welcome a friendly phone call for a status check, etc. We tend to get slammed but it's always great to put a voice to a name.

We hope to be of help in the very near future with you and your smart. Because after all, it's not madness, it's smart Madness!

Cheers,
SmartGurl

Smartgurl: Perhaps my order slipped thru the email notification crack? Good to get ur email that they're going to be here tomorrow and someone has to be here to sign for them. Without that email, no one would have been here. Anyway, didn't mean the above to sound too harsh as I've been very pleased so far. Drove the car more today with the Sprint Booster set on 3 and it felt nice; even felt like the transmission shifted smoother...

Oh yeah, I remember how the Americans like to be vague
Like starting with the month in the date instead of the day.

Area 451 only do the cruise control though don't they?
I'm sure MDC retail more than 1 product through an American reseller.

Kane,

To the best of my knowledge, MDC only does the cruise over here as well.

Yet other Americans "get us" fine. Vague is in the mind of the beholder?
