So DTH, do you have plans to come out with a super quiet exhaust muffler section to work with the header?

Also, any dyno charts?

We have one of the headers with the center exhaust and one with the Remus center exhaust. The smart with the headers and the Remus exhaust has about half the noise of the other set up.

So, there is a bit of a choice. If you want a set up with headers and as little noise as possible we suggest the DTH header and the Remus exhaust.

sorry to bring up an old thread but I have a few questions hopefully you guys can answer:

one obvious question: has a fix for the CEL been produced yet?
second question: I have a brabus edition, will it fit the factory brabus exhaust/muffler?

thanks guys!

Hello AcePlatero,

The fix for the CEL has not been produced by DTH as of today. All that happens is a light goes on your dash and stays on. We have had it on ours for some time. We did notice that if we ever take the header off and put the cat back on the light goes away on its own. Just an fyi...

Yes, it will fit the BRABUS edition and the exhaust system since they attach the same.

should be installing mine this weekend got some header wrap too as i wasn't sure if the heat shield was still intact after install
its a 50' roll so i should have a ton left over.....

also i understand that the CEL ill come on but there is a window from the time you reset it and the time the emissions scan is done that you can get a pass on the test

also if ppl just wrap the o2 sensor and replace the one in the header with a plug it got me thinking is this a nominal thread or something we can find in a hardware store or is it a special thread for just o2 sensors?

i will test it out but if anyone knows about the thread and if another sensor can be put in its place to plug the hole please let us know

I am guessing it might be a M18x1.5 thread.
