Smart2Drift - Smart 451 with Suzuki B-King engine

Hey!

Within a diploma thesis we built a drift smart with an 2008 Suzuki B-King engine (~190 euro-hp) . If you are interested, watch the clips we made or visit our homepage.

- no differential
- recaro seats
- schroth seatbelts
- more steering angle
- tirecooling
- hydraulic handbrake
- brake regulation front/rear
- ... etc ...

The car is just for drifting and a prototype.
Nevertheless, we hope you like it....

I am speechless! Don't know who's crazier in the 2nd video - the driver or the guy holding the camera.

What's the gas mileage?

Well, it's nice when the car is finished - but it was hard work, sometimes even in the night...

The gas mileage? I would say about 4 Liters per hour, but we didnt check that properly....

Here we go, some more pictures:

The rear springs, as you can see - very low

After the first test

@forestacademy
We get them from local smart dealers, they are used but still okay for drifiting. Luckily they are free of charge for us

@jwight
Yes, thats right - after we built a box around the engine it was kinda warm there, so we installed a "hot air outlet". But many people think it's mounted wrong -> nevertheless its installed aerodinamical correctly.
