Soften suspension help

I live in NE Ohio, lousy road HQ of the world. Any suggestions for softening the ride over potholes and bumps?

Thanks!

I think the only way to soften a ride is lower air pressure (26-29PSI), but then the TPC light will come on. The springs and shocks are already pretty soft, especially if you can rock the car with one hand. I would say, you may need to get used to it.

you can change the air pressure in the tire as said (not too low) and when you reset the TPMS the new pressure will be the referance pressure.

Has anyone measured the spring rate of the stockers? I haven't bottomed mine out yet but it does transmit a boom into the car when you work the suspension. To me the Bark is far worse than the bite. That is only my uncalibrated buttometer.

Consider changing the tires and wheels

To 16 or 17" and widen the offset. I did and the stock ride was greatly improved. Of course, $1200 for wheels and $600 for new tires is a big proce to pay for a softer ride.

Shorter, stiffer sidewall = softer ride.

Your tire and wheel salesman is underpaid.

I can tell you what not to try - softer springs. You can compress the front springs by hand. They are ridiculously soft.

Git ya some taller tars ....

The wide and low profile tires don't provide very much cushion effect. The suspension is actually pretty soft on these little buggers ... JMHO
